Elizabeth Spencer Chardonnay 2007

Brilliant green-gold hue. Aromas of lemon curd, white peach, pineapple and passion fruit leap from the glass along with hints of caramel apple and a touch of oak.

On the palate, a bright acidity contributes to an impression of freshness as the wine's intensity heightens. Rich without becoming weighty or cloying, the wine displays mouth-watering flavors of stone fruit,
apple blossom, pomelo and lemon meringue. Flavors are interwoven to a finish at once persistent and clean.

When I am in mood for some wine and cheese, this is the wine that comes in mind. There is a medley of smells like Fuji apple, caramel apple and even pear along with a hint of oak. It also goes well with poultry.
